Welcome,
Today’s mature adults are leading healthier, active
lifestyles and are living longer. In support of this
statistic, a variety of healthy living opportunities and
resources are available “by way of” Via! for Mobile’s
mature adults.
Senior Citizens Services, a United Way Agency, is
comprised of three primary program areas: Via Health,
Fitness and Enrichment Center, Via Services and Via
Solutions.
Via Health, Fitness & Enrichment Center is located on
the Arlene F. Mitchell Campus at 1717 Dauphin Street. It
is the area’s premier wellness center for people over
the age of 50. The Center offers a variety of exciting
activities and classes for active adults. It also has a
gymnasium and a fitness center.
Via Services is also located on the Mitchell campus. It
offers personal care management, an adult day care,
emergency assistance and other support services vital to
independent living.
